Merv has over 25 years of financial services experience. Merv is the founder of Emerald Wealth Management and HomeTown 401(k), both of which were acquired by Locust Lane. His founding of Emerald and HomeTown was developed out of his passion for helping entrepreneurs grow their business, protect their net worth and enhance their retirement plans.

During his time at Emerald and HomeTown, Merv has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times “Top 401(k) Advisor List,” as well as Atlanta Magazine’s “5 Star Wealth Manager” annually for 9 years straight.

As an advisory board member, Merv will help drive the firm’s future growth.

Merv graduated with a BA from Mercer University, as well as Duke University’s Certified Financial Planning (CFP) program.
